September 1 2015 Challenge and Reveal

Hello there!

It's time for a new sketch challenge, plus we have a bit of a surprise! But first let's chat about the sponsors for this challenge.

A big thank you goes out to Wycinanka for sponsoring our this challenge, they are offering a gorgeous prize pack to one lucky participant!

In a small factory at the foot of the Izera Mounains,
with passion and involvement, we create unusual products to handicraft.
In Wycinanka's offer you will find chipboards, stencils, stamps and ... just look at www.wycinanka.net

sample prize pack!

AND thank you to Lawn Fawn, who are also sponsoring this challenge, offering a 6x6 pad and stamp set of the winners choice to a second lucky participant!

We’re a small company from Southern California that specializes in crafting products that are fun and lively. Since beginning in March 2010 with four stamp sets, we have grown our collection to more than 130 sets! We have also introduced lots of new products along the way... paper, twine, and dies, just to name a few.
Our products feature original designs that range from versatile basics (we love alphabets and polka dots) to fun and quirky (yay for yetis!) and everything in between. And of course, we use the highest quality photo-polymer for our stamps, FSC certified paper, and 100% steel for our dies.
Visit us anytime to browse our latest products or simply find inspiration! And don't forget to check out our Flickr and Facebook pages, follow us on Twitter and read our blog. We love to feature our customers and give away free stuff!  We hope our products make you smile!

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

For this challenge we are partnering with the DT from Scrap Our Stash, who are using the letters in the word L-A-Y-E-R-S, to de-stash! Our DT had fun with this one!

Feel free to play along with one or both components of the challenge. If you use both components you can link up at both challenge sites!

We are also starting something new! We will be choosing one scrapbooker from each challenge to guest with us at a later date! For example, our chosen scrapbooker from our September 1st challenge will guest for our November 1st challenge!

This week I invited a guest designer to join  us. Please join me in welcoming Shelby Marks!!

I will let Shelby tell you a bit about herself....

"Hi, my name is Shelby. I live in Northern California with my husband and 2 kids, a 12 year old son and 2 year old daughter. I started scrapbooking about 12 years ago after my son was born, but I was not able to make it a full time hobby until 2 years ago when I left my full time job and became a stay-at-home mom. My layouts are mostly based around my family and our everyday moments. I get most of my style inspiration from scrapbooking sites I follow and love to use sketches. My favorite elements to use on my layouts are enamel dots, doilies, spray ink and wood veneers.  I love American Crafts, Crate Paper and Simple Stories. I am very grateful for being invited to be the feature here at Stuck?! Sketches this month!"

Here is Shelby's layout based on our sketch.

Thank you for joining us Shelby and sharing your talent with us!

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by September 29th to be in the running for one of our prizes! All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr. (Though we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge. We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting, we cannot wait to see what you create!
Laura
xoxo
