Sketch #49

I want to thank those of you who take the time and submit your layouts to Stuck each month. Without you all entering there is just a bunch of sketches going on the web. i am updating the reader gallery this morning to include all our July entries, so check it out and let me know if your layouts arent there.

On to this week's sketch. As there are only 2 days left in July, this one will be eligible for entries in both July (for those speedy scrappers) and August (for us normal ones hehe).

Welcome to another week. Sorry we are a day late this week. I am still stuck in retreat mode.

It is with a sad note, that we say there have been some changes to our CT. Dee has left us due to some personal commitments and Charmane will be going to a part time basis. I wish both of these girls the best of luck with their future scrapping careers.

Well another week rolled around and I didn't accomplish much. In fact, I didn't even get a chance to get a sketch sent out to my CT. So this week I invited them to share their favourite layouts with me.

Welcome to July. Who can believe that the year is half over? It certainly seems like we were only celebrating Christmas yesterday.

The CT have created some fantastic layouts as always.

So I told you all that we were going to be having some exciting news today.

Well this exciting news is for our OS readers. As sponsors are not exactly forthcoming but I still want to include you all, I am running a Guest CT competition.

Requirements: Please read these carefully, I can not consider any applications that are missing information/requirements.

* Complete a layout using the below sketch.

* Send in 2 other original non seen layouts.

Also send in the following:

* Your Name

* Location - eg. Chicago, US

* A link to your blog and any other online galleries where we can see your current work.

* A link to your resume (if you have one). If not, a list of previous and current DTs and publications. (Experience is not necessary, this is just for interest sake).

* Describe your style

* A list of online message boards you are active on

All entries must be 12 x 12 or 8.5 x 11. Email them to me at stucksketches@optusnet.com.au (please keep file sizes under 100kb). Please put STUCK?! GUEST CREATIVE TEAM APPLICATION in the subject line

Entries must be received by midnight EST on Friday 20th July. The Guest Creative Team will be contacted by 24th July and will be announced shortly thereafter.

Expectations:

* Each Guest CT member will be for a period of 2 weeks and be required to submit 2 LOs.

* Each Tuesday / Wednesday I will send you a new sketch and it will be due the following Monday, no exceptions. If you cannot commit to this deadline please do not apply. I do not send sketches out any further in advance.

* CT members should use the Stuck?! Guest CT blinkie and promote Stuck?! where ever and when ever possible!

What do you get as a CT member?

* We are currently doing this just for fun, to challenge and inspire our fellow scrappers.
