New Owner

Hello everyone!

My name is Laura, I am thrilled to be here as the new owner of Stuck?, I am a passionate scrapper and love that I have 'met' so many amazing and talented people through the online scrappy world.  I am an at-home mom to 3 boys (almost 24, 21, and 10) and we have 2 Olde English Bulldogges.

Good morning and welcome to August.

Stuck?! Sketches is celebrating it's 6th birthday this month and I am so proud that my little sketch blog idea that I had six years ago has continued to run so successfully since. 

I have so many exciting things happening for you, the readers.In addition to our two regular sketches, there will be two bonus sketches. These will be revealed on the 5th and 20th when there is normally our second half of the CT inspiration. And every member of our Creative Team will have a layout inspiration from these sketches for you. There's sure to be something for everyone's tastes this month.

Sadly it's time to say goodbye to some of the current creative team with these sketches. But later this month, I will be revealing who the new Creative Team members are and getting to know them better. There is still time to apply for the Creative Team call but you better hurry as applications need to be in by this Sunday 4th August.

There is also a fun blog hop with inspiration at every stop! 

So make sure you pop in often this month, as there will be plenty of layouts and sketches to inspire, prizes to win and exciting new Creative Team members to get to know.

Spring / Summer Creative Team Call

It's that time again. I'm looking for an undetermined number of creative team members for the Spring / Summer 2013 team. These will be mix of returning and new CT members.

I've simplified the process this time due to short time constraints.

Requirements:

Please read these carefully, I will not consider any applications that are missing information / requirements.

1.Email me the following information:
a. Full name and Country
b. Blog link
c. Do you prefer to scrap in 8.5 x 11 or 12 x 12?
d. A short bio including any current or previous DTs and publications (previous experience isn’t necessary, I am just curious)
e. A list of galleries you post in regularly.
f. A few short sentences about what you love about Stuck?! and what you can bring to the team.

Applications are to be emailed to stucksketches@optusnet.com.au. Please put STUCK?! CREATIVE TEAM APPLICATION in the subject line. Please do not attach images of your layouts, just a link to your blog, as layouts will cause my inbox to clog very quickly.

All emails must be received by midnight on Sunday August 4th (AEST). The Creative Team will be contacted by Wednesday August 7th and will be announced later in August.

Expectations:

* Your term will run from the September 2013 to February 2014 sketches. You will receive your first sketches during the month of August 2013 and your final sketches during the month of January 2014.
*Each CT member will be required to submit 2 layouts per month. At the beginning of the current month, I will send you both new sketches for the following month and it will be due late in the current month.
* CT members are expected to remain EXCLUSIVE to Stuck?! Sketches for their CT period. We are not able to accept applicants who are current CT members for other sketch blogs / sites. You are free to design for other challenge blogs, just not those who only do sketches.
* You must maintain a current active blog. Word of mouth is the only way people will know about Stuck?! and you must be willing to promote Stuck?! on your blog.
* Positions will be held for a six month period and members will be required to reapply at the end of the six months to continue on.
*CT members should use the Stuck?! blinkie and promote Stuck?! wherever and whenever possible. I want each CT member to be proud to be a member and to spread the word around!!!
