February 1st Sketch

Good morning!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply for the Creative Team call. All applicants have been contacted. Please make sure you are checking your inboxes and junk mail folders for your email.

Today, we have another new sketch and new guest CT member. This month's guest used to be a CT member in 2010 and I am still in love with her style so much. It's Lauren Bell.

My name is Lauren and I live on a cattle property in Queensland with my husband, Luke and our 3 kids, Lachlan, Michala and Darcie. 

I have been scrapping for just over 7 years now. I am currently on the Design Team at the Little Scrapbook Shop and have been fortunate enough to have been on CT's in the past such as Kraft It Up, Scrap The Girls and here at Stuck?! Sketches. I was also named a 2010 Scrapbooking Memories  Master.

I'm really excited to be Guest Designing this month. I am a huge fan of Sara's sketches and the Stuck?! Blog.

Cards Team Call - Autumn / Winter 2012

After a few requests, I have decided that I will be adding a card team to the Stuck?! family.

I'm looking for an undetermined number of creative team members for this cards team.

Requirements:
Please read these carefully, I will not consider any applications that are missing information / requirements.

1. Create a card based on the sketch below. Individual interpretation and personal style is strongly encouraged but the sketch must still be easily recognisable.

2. Also include the following in your email:
a. Full name & Country
b. Blog link
c. A short bio including any current or previous DTs and publications (previous experience isn’t necessary, I am just curious)
d. A list of forums etc. you visit regularly
e. A few short sentences about what you love about sketches and what you can bring to the team.

Entries are to be emailed to stucksketches@optusnet.com.au. Please put STUCK?! CARDS TEAM APPLICATION in the subject line. Please keep your file size to a maximum 500 x 500px as anything higher will cause my inbox to clog.

International applications are welcome and encouraged.

All emails must be received by midnight on Friday 17th February (AEST). The Cards Team will be contacted by February 20th and will be announced during late February.

Expectations:

* Your term will run from the March 2012 to August 2012 sketches. You will receive your first sketch during the month of February 2012 and your final sketches during the month of July 2012.
*Each CT member will be required to submit 2 cards per month. At the beginning of the current month, I will send you both new sketches for the following month and it will be due late in the current month.
* CT members are expected to remain EXCLUSIVE to Stuck?! Sketches for their CT period. We are not able to accept applicants who are current CT members for other sketch blogs / sites. You are free to design for other challenge blogs, just not those who only do sketches.
* You must maintain a current active blog. Word of mouth is the only way people will know about Stuck?! and you must be willing to promote Stuck?! on your blog.
* Positions will be held for a six month period and members will be required to reapply at the end of the six months to continue on.
*CT members should use the Stuck?! blinkie and promote Stuck?! wherever and whenever possible. I want each CT member to be proud to be a member and to spread the word around!!!

**Update on Emails and CT Call**

After my computer debacle over the weekend, my husband has luckily been able to recover all of the images that I had stored on my computer.

I have been able to use this to contact as many people as possible in regards to their Creative Team Applications but unfortunately there were a couple I could not find an email address for or I had not saved their application layout to my computer before the crash.

If I have not been in contact with you today, and you have applied for the call, can you please resend your application to me as soon as possible to stucksketches@optusnet.com.au

Don't forget that the call has been extended to January 30th, so there is still time to apply if you are interested. (And I promise my emails are all being backed up daily from now on).

** Important Announcement**

I have had some computer issues tonight and lost all of my emails including those I had received for the current Creative Team Call.

Can all of those who have sent their emails through, please resend them as soon as possible.

I will extend the deadline of the call until January 30th.
