Woo hoo, it is that time again - Stuck?! Sketches is having a DT call!

DESIGN TEAM  CALL

I am super excited to announce that Stuck?! Sketches is having a design team call!  We are looking for an undetermined number of team members. If you are a loyal and committed scrapper that loves using sketches as a jumping off point for your layouts and are active on social media, read on.....

Design Team Requirements:

• create 2 layouts per month, using the sketches provided
• submit good quality and closely cropped photos of your pages on time (for your DT call submission as well) 
• post our badge on your blog with a link  to our blog
• become a member of our private Facebook group (this is how we communicate as a team)
• post the Stuck?! Sketches sketch and your layout, along with a link to the Stuck?! Sketches blog on your blog  on the day of our reveal (the 1st and 15th of each month) at 7 am EST
• share your blog posts on your Facebook and other social media outlets
  
• comment on entries according to our team schedule - this is very important, if you are not willing or able to do your share of commenting please do not apply
• you do not need to be exclusive to Stuck?!, you can belong to other DT's, however you must be loyal and committed to promoting Stuck?! and our sponsors

This call is open to scrappers around the world, you do not need to have Design Team experience to apply, all applications will be considered.  The term will run for 6 months, from October 1st, 2017 - March 31, 2018 - with a possibility of continuing on. No compensation is provided.

To apply, please complete the following requirements:

1. Create a layout using one of our August sketch (as always our second sketch will be released on August 15th) and enter it into our challenge.  Yes, you are eligible for the current prizes.

2. Send a high quality photo of your layout along with the following information to Laura via email at laurawhitaker50@gmail.com, before September 1, 2017.  Please put Stuck?! Sketches DT Call in the subject line.

3. Include:

• one layout based on any of our current sketches (as per above )
• and 2 more of your favourite layouts, we would love to see what you think best represents your style!!
• past or present DT experience (although none is necessary)
• a link to your blog
• your full name and address

Selected entrants will be notified via email, by September 7th, 2017 and will be announced on September 25th, 2017 on our blog.  New team members will be expected to participate in the October 1st  reveal.

August 1 2017 Challenge Reveal

Hello there!

Welcome August!  As you know a new month means it's time for a new sketch challenge! But first let's chat about the sponsors for this challenge.

My name is Charmane Koch & I am owner of Charms Creations! I am living in the Adelaide Hills, about 20 minutes from Adelaide, South Australia with my partner Ash & 3 gorgeous children - our son Chei aged 12 & two girls Harmony aged 10 & Ryarne aged 6!
I started Charms Creations back in 2010, after creating a few handmade creations for my own layouts I had a suggestion to make them and sell them to others. It started as selling only a few for a *Market* on a Scrapbooking Site, then selling them on my blog, then I started selling them on my Facebook Page.
I started selling them in a Big Cartel Store -http://charmscreations.bigcartel.com/ a few years ago, and still do, along with having sales & new releases over on the Charms Creations Facebook Page.
I am very lucky to also have a fantastic Creative Team who have been helping me spread the word with their gorgeous work around the web & in Scrapbooking Magazines.
I also have an AMAZING group of regular customers who also share their gorgeous work here in this fabulous group to give Ideas & Inspiration as well!

I will let Jane tell you a bit about herself....

"Hi all. I'm Jane, aka Purplejet, and I'm so thrilled to be Guest Designing for this challenge. I live in the UK where scrapbook supplies and interest is not that great, but for me it's always been my first love when crafting - after all I get to keep what I've created!

I started scrapping as a way to present my family history and my first ever album was a very traditional family heritage one. After that came a couple of holiday albums and by then I was completely hooked! I now keep an album for each year containing a mix of 12x12 paper pages, Project Life pages and even the odd digital page too.
I also make cards and ATCs and am on the DT for a couple of challenge blogs and a UK stamp company. Oh and did I mention I look after my grandson a couple of days each week? He's the subject of the page I made with this new challenge's super sketch."

"Hello all, I'm Helen and I'm an one excited West Australian thrilled to be the guest designer for this challenge. By day I am a primary school teacher and by night I love to escape to my craft room and create, well except on Wednesday nights when I am learning to play bridge. I started scrapbooking when my twin boys were 17 months old and boy time flies as they just turned 17 a couple of weeks ago. I am currently on The Crafty Maven Getaway design team and I really enjoy making scrapbook process videos, I even made one for this layout! I hope you enjoy it and find some inspiration.
