January 1st Sketch Challenge and a Guest!

Hello friends!

Happy New Year to you all!  By the end of 2014 we here at Stuck?! have undergone some changes, we have said good bye to a few of our team mates, they will be missed here for their inspiration for sure, but we know we can find them around the www when we need our fix!  Most recently Sarah and Atsuko have decided to leave the team and we wish them all the best.

2015 is sure to bring more changes, beginning with us welcoming our GDT winners for the next four challenges!  We also have a few special surprises up our sleeves for this year so be sure to watch for news from us!

Now it's time for a new sketch challenge, our very first of 2015!  Our sponsors for this challenge, are very fitting companies to begin the new year with us at they have been long term Stuck?! supporters!

A big thank you goes out to  ScrapMatts, for sponsoring our January 1st  challenge, they are offering 2 large pieces of chipboard to one lucky participant!

ScrapMatts is a place to learn, share ideas and view some great design concepts, while offering Australian Made, Laser Cut Chipboard, original shapes and designs, made to compliment your scrapbooking pages or your card making projects

AND thank you to Big Picture Classes who is offering a $30.00 gift certificate to a second lucky participant.

We're here to help you tell your story and leave your mark in fun and meaningful ways. Scrapbooking is our lifeblood—it gives us our strength and vitality as a company. We recognize that there are as many creative pursuits as there are people. For this reason, we offer top-notch online education in a variety of fields and formats.

When you learn to value your unique perspective, your personal expression becomes art.
This is why we approach everything we teach with a guilt-free attitude that opens you up to inspiration in your everyday life and allows you to focus on what matters most. We view a successful class not by the mastering of a technique or by completion of a project but by the impact of the creative process—we view success as our students experiencing an "aha" moment or making a "big picture" connection that will last a lifetime.

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

Please join me in welcoming our guest Olga Ryzhkova, Olga won our December 1st GDT challenge!!

I will let Olga tell you a bit about herself....

"I live in the northern city Murmansk, in Russia.
I'm a happy wife, mother and grandmother.
My family is the source of my inspiration, I love to create with my favourite photos of my daughters and granddaughters. Scrapbooking has been my hobby for 5 years, now likely to it is not a hobby but a way of life ... I love to scrap all styles, tried everything too, but my favorite is the free style.  Really love to create albums and pages. I would love you to visit my blog!

Here is Olga's layout based on our sketch.

What a gorgeous page Olga, we are are so happy to have you join us for this challenge!
Now lets have a look at our always inspiring DT reveals....

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by January 29th, 2015 to be in the running for one of our prizes!   All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr. (Though we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge.  We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting, we cannot wait to see what you create!
Laura
