February 15 2016 Challenge Featured Layout #2

We have a sweet layout based on the February 15th sketch challenge to share with you today. But before we get to that, we want to say thank you to our sponsors.

We are grateful for Lindy's Stamp Gang for joining us again as a sponsor. They're giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky participant in our challenge.
http://www.lindystampgang.com//
Lindy's luscious luster is all uniquely two-toned! With vibrant shimmery sprays, flat sprays, vintage sprays, embossing powder and lots more! Lindy’s Stamp Gang is the creative” baby” of Lindy Plakinger. She passed away in 2008 after bravely battling illness. She was a self-made cartoonist, loved drawing, crafting, designing new products, and creating her funny cartoon characters! One of her greatest joys was traveling to stamping and scrapbooking conventions across the US, demo-ing to her heart’s content with her sister, and giggle partner, Vicki! Lindy’s Stamp Gang will continue, as was her hope, and dream. Her husband and daughter have taken over the company keeping her creativity alive. Tracey, (her daughter), has always been a “jar filler” in the background of Lindy’s Stamp Gang, but is now trying to fill some incredible shoes!

For more Lindy’s Stamp Gang please visit:

Thank you also to ScrapMuch, who is offering a $20.00 gift certificate toward project kits (shipping not included) to a second lucky winner.

ScrapMuch? is an online and mobile store, that specializes in event sales, retreats, crops and classes.  We offer great products at competitive prices, including a very economical kit club that is an exciting and affordable way to add to your scrapbook stash and inspire you to create.

Miki is our featured artist today. I just love how there are tons of fun little details sprinkled and tucked around the page, but they all lead the eye back to that darling photo.

We are so glad you joined us, Miki. Please grab our "featured" button below and wear it on your blog.
Here's another look at the sketch:

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by February 29th to be in the running for one of our prizes. All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr (though we may not be able to comment in all forums).

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge. We would also love for you to share the sketch!

Thank you for visiting us today. If you haven't yet tried your hand at creating with this sketch, please do and then let us see what you've made. We really love to see your work.

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

This week we have another guest designer joining us. Please join me in welcoming Debbi!!

I will let Debbi tell you a bit about herself....

"Hi, I'm Debbi Tehrani. I live in Frederick, Maryland, with Farzad, my husband of 35 years. We have no children, but we have two cats and two bearded dragons. One of the beardies accompanies me to school, where I teach fourth grade.
I've been scrapping since 2000. I scrap 8 x 8, and I love telling stories on my pages and using elements that will help to tell my stories. For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. Recently, I have been creating pages for friends who have lost loved ones.

I love a scrapbooking challenge, and I've been on a bunch challenge design teams over the years, including Creative Scrappers, How Much Is Too Much, Sketchabilities, Creative Prompts for You, Color Combos Galore, and Sketchbook365. I also designed for Work in Progress kits and was a designer and writer for Scrapbook News & Review. My pages have been published in Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbooks, Etc., Simple Scrapbooks, and Scrap365, as well as several online publications. I'm currently on the 2Crafty Chipboard design team. I founded and create for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration, a color challenge website.

The internet has transformed my hobby from a solitary passion to one that I can share with online friends I have made all over the world. I met one of my best friends this way--she lives in England, and we scrap together every weekend via Skype, and she's even come to visit me twice! I love Stuck?! Sketches, and I'm so happy to have been invited as a guest designer! If you'd like to see more of my work, I'd love for you to come visit my blog, Little Scraps of Magic"

Here is Debbi's gorgeous layout based on our sketch.

Thank you for joining us Debbi!

Now lets have a look at our incredible DT reveals (in alphabetical order!)....

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

Our guest designer for this challenge is Anna Uhras, please join me in welcoming her to Stuck?! Sketches !!

I will let Anna tell you a bit about herself....

"Hi I'm Anna and I'm from a little village in the middle of Sweden. My family of seven, hubby, five kids (20 - 2 ) and me are living at our farm, where my hubby works, and I work halftime as a hairdresser. I have to admit I'm addicted to Scrapbooking and all the pretty papers and supplies around our awesome hobby. As often as I can I love playing along at Stuck?! Sketches, therefore I'm so happy and honored that Laura asked me to guest this month. Laura have teached me  A LOT, by her amazing sketches, how to build a balanced layout.( Thank you Laura) I´m also a member of two design teams, which is so fun and very devoloping. My first contact with this hobby was about 2007, mostly cardmaking. But I think my "real" start was about Fall 2012 when I discovered Scrapbooking with layouts. I mostly do traditional 12x12 but also letter size sometimes. My style is hard to define for me, it depends of what has inspired me at that moment. But I love rich colors, layers, white space, thread and even mashine stiching is often to find on my layouts.  You are more than welcome to visit me at my blog, http://urascrap.blogspot.se/"

Here is Anna's layout based on our sketch.

Thank you for joining us Anna!

Now let's have a look at our gorgeous DT reveals....
