Meet Our New Design Team!


Hello! Janice and I are so thrilled to share our brand new design team with you! This talented group of creatives will begin sharing their art with you with the launch of our  October 1st challenge!

So without further ado, let me introduce our new members to you (in alphabetical order.)

Hello, my name is Anne Keller. I'm a nearly 29-year-old student and mum of 2 girls and I live in a beautiful town in Germany with my family. I'm a scrapper since 2011. I started with recipes but after the birth of my first daughter I mostly document our family life. I love the creative process, the flow of creating and that I can calm down and refresh my soul while I'm scrapping. Sketches are my favorite way to start a new page. So I'm happy and really excited to be on the Stuck?! Sketches DT for the next 6 months.

Hi, my name is Fiona Johnstone, I live in Sydney with my two children Zane and Lily and one slightly crazy dog named Harry. I have been scrapbooking since Zane was born, almost 12 years. My style has been described as modern, I am photo focused and I love to use patterned papers but also mix it up with mixed media based layouts. It’s all about enjoying being creative for me! I am fortunate to be able to teach a monthly scrapbooking class for All About Scrapbooks (Australia) at their crop days and am a member of the Design Team. I love sketches and am very excited to be a part of the Stuck?! Sketches team!

Hi, I'm Libeeti from Israel. I'm a mother of two teenagers boys and a craft addicted (say, 'we love you Libeeti', as most of you are craft addicted too LOL). I make layouts, mini albums, altered art, mixed media art, notebooks and journaling books, etc. I also love to make vidoes about my creative process and share my tips and hows with others. Hi! I am LIzzy Crust and I have been scrapbooking since 2006. I am Mum of 4 with only 1 at home now with my Husband and I. I enjoy the creative process of making a layout and I love using layers, flowers, mixed media and sketches. I have been on several Design Teams and this has been a great learning curve in trying things I may not have done otherwise, as well as making lovely friends in the online scrapping world. Hello everyone! My name is Maria and I am so excited to be part of this amazing team! I am originally from Spain, but I've been living in the UK for a bit longer than I want to remember. I do love it here, though. So much so that I became a citizen in 2016! I started scrapbooking in 2013, just a couple of months after my twins were born, and my style has been evolving and changing ever since. I like focusing in the photo(s), title and journalling. I am not a massive embellisher, although sometimes (rarely) I use tons of them in one layout! I started scrapbooking in 8x8 books, and just at the beginning of 2017 I moved to full 12x12 pages. And I am loving the big space! Sketches are great starting points for me and use them as inspiration all the time!

Hi! My name is Megan, or Crafty Meggy in the Scrappy world. I am a mom to 3 wild, wonderful boys and wife to an amazing husband. I am a SAHM and a part time professional photographer, as well as a scrapbooker. I have been scrapbooking for almost 20 years now. I found the YouTube/Online community a few years ago and have blossomed and made so many wonderful friends in the process. I am so excited to be on the Stuck?! Sketches team!

I live in sunny Perth in Western Australia.  I have been married for 16 years and have four children, 3 boys and 1 girl! I am a Registered Nurse and work in a prison as a Mental Health and Addiction Consultant. I am a lover of all things paper but my crafting started with Folk Art painting and quilting.  Photography is also a great passion of mine and there would not be a day that passes where I do not snap a photo! I have been scrapbooking for 10 years now and I would classify my style as contemporary/classic. I am a lover of clean lines, negative space, embellishment clustering, sewing on my layouts and using cut files!

First off I’m so excited to be joining Laura and this team of amazing paper crafters at Stuck?! Sketches! I live in Yellowknife NWT, Canada… yes in Canada’s Arctic! I began scrapbooking about 15 years ago when my son Liam started school. I haven’t been on a Design Team before but I have had a layout (or more) published in every issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine for the past 7 years. I often include Memorabilia on my pages, love using sketches and I would say that most of my pages have a collage look to them… scrapbooking truly is therapeutic for me. I hope to share with you some wonderful experiences and photos of our life “North of 60”!


Online I’m known as seemownay but I’m actually spelled Simone. I am a mom to three boys and due to my husband’s job we moved from Germany to the San Francisco Bay Area two years ago. I have always been crafty in some way or another and rediscovered my love for paper in 2014 when I started Project Life. I then got sucked into the the whole scrapbooking thing in the beginning of 2015 when I created my very first 12 x 12 layout. Even though I love scrapbooking as an art form, I always have to have a story to tell. My style is fun and playful. While I am still learning new techniques, I am always trying to expand my horizon and don’t shy away from trying. Last year I also started planning and journaling in a traveler’s notebook and am currently on the Cocoa Daisy Planner Team.

When I’m not doing fun things with paper, I might be sewing, reading, climbing or cheering for my sons at their sporting events. I also love capturing those little happy moments throughout the day: I could take pictures of the blue sky, pretty flowers or an interesting floor pattern all day long and still find more. Hi Scrapping friends! My name is Yvette Weber, I live in the United States with my amazing husband of thirty one years, one awesome son (11) and a dog name Titan! Born and grew up in Grenada in the Caribbean, move to the States when I was 15 with my family. I started scrapbooking in 2013 to document our family memories, after my Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. When not scrapbooking you can find me cooking, baking, decorating my home and sometime reading a great book. I love incorporate layers of colorful patterned paper, clusters of embellishments and cut files on my pages! I'm super excited to be joining the Stuck?! Design Team News

Hello friends!  Today I  am sharing a bit of Design Team news with you.  For personal reasons I opted not to have a design team call for the upcoming term.  Instead, I reached out to the current team to see who would be able to remain with me for another term.  As luck would have it, almost every one of our existing DT could!  Sadly, we are saying good bye to Raechelle Bellus, we know you will miss her designs as much as we will but of course we wish her well in all she does!

We are welcoming back the following team members...


I have also reached out to a few scrappers to "grow" our team.  Having a team of only 12 was very important to me, for a long time, if felt like a great size, manageable and not overwhelming.  But maybe it is time for a change.  What this means for our followers, is more eye candy!  And more opportunities for future DT members.

Christine is a busy stay-at-home mom to three sons and one daughter. She takes her downtime (and maintains her santiy) in the crafting world dabbling in every type possible from diy home decor to scrapbooking. She was born and raised in Los Angeles but went away to Texas for college where she met her husband. She's been married to her husband for 17 years and together they've moved 8 times with the latest move landing them in Central Ohio. She is always ready to travel and is enjoying exploring a new part of the country. She loves math, cooking, coffee, and a yummy bowl of ice cream. She has a whimsical and colorful style with clean lines but loves to mess around with whatever trends are on the scene at the moment. She's always on the lookout for a clever twist to add to a project be it thru changing up a product or technique to make it her own. She's been lucky enough to serve on design teams for numerous manufacturers as well as be published in both print and online magazines. She's taught classes for local stores, taught kids classes at schools, and regularly creates videos for her new YouTube channel. She is a social butterfly and loves to connect with friends and crafters from around the world through all different forms of social media.


My name is Sandy Ross and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada and I am married to a wonderful man who supports my scrapbooking hobby. We have three amazing grown children and two adorable grandsons. They are my inspiration for scrapbooking – to capture and cherish memories forever. I’ve been crafty as long as I can remember, but seriously addicted to scrapbooking for the last seven years. I also love to sew and quilting is my passion. I can’t say I have a distinct style because I really like experimenting and trying new techniques. I love to follow sketches so I am thrilled to be returning to Stuck?! Sketches after being away for the past year. I can't wait to get started!!!


Hi there! I am excited to joining the design team here at Stuck?! Sketches! My husband, Greg and I, live in central Wisconsin. We have two children: Sierra, 19, is a freshman in college. Austin, 17, is a junior in high school. I am the Food Service Director at the school. Besides scrapping, I enjoy reading, camping and gardening. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Hello, my name is Ashley Smith. I live in Virginia with my husband, two children (12 year old twins), and three kitties. Before I had children, I was an elementary teacher. Now I’m a stay at home mom who loves to scrapbook, read, and dream about travelling.
I started scrapbooking almost ten years ago when my children were young. I was walking through a bookstore one day, saw a scrapbooking magazine and was immediately hooked. 
Sketches have always helped me get started when I sit down to start a layout. In fact, sometimes I start with a sketch first and then go find the pictures to go with it. I am really looking forward to being on the Stuck Sketches team. 
 (Ashley will be starting with us beginning the June 1st sketch.)

We will also be adding one more person, who will be joining us in May once she is finished up with a current DT commitment.  We will keep you posted on that.

Meet Our New Design Team!

 

Hello! I am super excited to be here today to share our brand new design team with you!  This talented group of memory keepers will be sharing their art with you from October 1st 2016 to March 31st 2017 and I couldn't be more thrilled to have them join Stuck?! Sketches!

Hi! My name is Åsa Johansson and I´m from Sweden. I have just turned 40 and work as a teacher. I have 3 kids and they are almost always in the pictures in my layouts. I´m addicted to scrapbooking and card making since 2007. It´s a lovely addiction and it´s my way to relax and feel good. My style varies depending on the mood. I usually use much white space with a lot of layers. I love to use thread and mists on my pages. My favourite color is pink!

Hi, I'm Debbi Tehrani. I'd like to start out by saying how excited and honored I am to be joining the Stuck?! Sketches. I live in Frederick, Maryland, with Farzad, my husband of 35 years. We have no children, but we have two cats and two bearded dragons. One of the beardies accompanies me to school, where I teach fourth grade. I've been scrapping since 2000. I scrap 8 x 8, and I love telling stories on my pages and using elements that will help to tell my stories. For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. I love a scrapbooking challenge, and I've been on a bunch challenge design teams over the years, including Creative Scrappers, How Much Is Too Much, Sketchabilities, Creative Prompts for You, Color Combos Galore, and Sketchbook365. I’m currently on the 2Crafty design team. I also designed for Work in Progress kits and was a designer and writer for Scrapbook News & Review. My pages have been published in Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbooks, Etc., Simple Scrapbooks, and Scrap365, as well as several online publications. I founded and create for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration. The internet has transformed my hobby from a solitary passion to one that I can share with online friends I have made all over the world. I’ve been a scrapbooker and card maker for 10 years or more and I love everything about this craft. With three grandsons and a granddaughter, I’m happy making bright and grungy, soft and feminine and anything else in between. I live in Adelaide, South Australia, although I grew up in the country and a piece of my heart is still there.
My style is eclectic; I like trying new techniques, playing with stencils, texture paste, metal and chipboard, as well as flowers and bling. Sometimes my page begins with just a germ of an idea and end up with something totally unexpected. That’s why I like challenges, ‘cos they steer my in directions I wouldn’t necessarily wander.
Telling the story behind the photo, it what drives me to create and there is almost always a big slab of journaling on or behind the page.
I’ve previously designed for CSI, Meg’s Garden, Scrap Africa and currently for Scrapmatts. My work has been published in "Scrapbooking Memories" and "Australian Scrapbooking Ideas. “

My name is Kelly Barron, and I live in Virginia. I have been married to my husband for 18 years and we have two teenagers who keep us on our toes! I have loved all things crafty for as long as I can remember. My mother taught me to cross stitch and latch hook, and that was a love throughout my childhood. I stumbled upon scrapbooking after my son was born in 2000 and have been in love with the hobby ever since. There is just something so special about playing with pretty papers and embellishments that is just therapy for my soul, with the added bonus of documenting our lives. I also love to knit and usually have a couple of projects on needles at all times, again I find it therapeutic. Reading is another one of my hobbies and I especially love historical fiction.

I live in the West Midlands in the UK and have started scrapping 10 years ago after picking up a craft catalogue. I made my first layout the next day and I was immediately hooked – I could be creative even though I can’t draw! Over the past 10 years I’ve been fortunate enough to meet many lovely people whom are now firm friends.

I have been on design teams both here in the UK and abroad. I think my greatest scrapping contribution came in the form of Scrap365 Magazine. Being on the original design team I later join the editorial team where I could talk and write about layouts all day! It was an incredible year where work was also my passion!

Sketches are a brilliant way to jump start a layout. I love the Stuck?! Sketches as they are so versatile.

Hi everyone, I'm Natsuko from Japan. I've been scrapping for more than 7 years now, and I'm still deeply in love :) Scrapbooking not only makes me happy but it's also a stress reliever. My daughter is the model in most of my layouts, and I want to keep the moments (special or not!) so she can remember them after she grows up. I love looking at other people's layouts too, imagining what kind of story is hidden there. Colorful is my style, but I also like shabby chic. I don't want to limit myself so I'm not hesitant to try new techniques and I'm always looking for new inspiration. I love travelling, taking pictures and meeting new people from all over the world (especially scrappers!!) It's such an honour to be a member of this team and I'm so excited!! Thank you xxx

Hello! :) I am so excited to be on the Stuck?! team! I am Raechelle (pronounced Rachel) and I live in Conroe, TX along with my husband and youngest daughter. We have a blended family of six children, five girls and one boy. Our other five children are grown and live all over the US, with the exception of our second youngest daughter who is currently stationed in Romania. We are a proud military family! Two of our daughters are active duty Navy, our son is an Army Veteran, and our oldest daughter is a Navy Veteran. We have three sweet granddaughters, although we have only been able to meet one of them. I am a stay-at-home mom for our youngest daughter who has Crohn's disease as well as other medical conditions. Thankfully she is in remission at the time and is able to live a somewhat normal teenage life.

I have been scrapping for about 15 years now and enjoy pushing myself to expand my creativity. I still marvel at how we can all take a sketch, some photos, paper, and embellishments and end up with unique expressions of ourselves. When I am not scrapping I generally have a book in my nose or am dabbling with my sewing machine.

I have been scrapbooking now for about 11 years, with a style that has been evolving over that time. I am not sure how to define my style, but am often using a mixture of mixed media and traditional scrapping. I think really I am fairly eclectic. My favourite products include stencils, texture paste, glitter paste and find myself often heading down the track of a mixed media. I also love handmade embellishments.
I really enjoy working with sketches. I find they are great to recharge the scrapping mojo when it goes missing, and are a great starting point, if you find yourself stuck for ideas for a layout. I have been married to my husband for nearly 28 years, I have 2 adult children and one fur baby.
