April 15th Challenge

Hello there!

It's time for our mid month sketch challenge! As always we have two amazing sponsors for this challenge!

A big thank you goes out to ScrapMatts they have been so super supportive of us here at Stuck?! Sketches and they are offering two large pieces of chipboard to one lucky participant, in this challenge!

ScrapMatts is a place to learn, share ideas and view some great design concepts, while offering Australian Made, Laser Cut Chipboard, original shapes and designs, made to compliment your scrapbooking pages or your card making projects

AND thank you to Flutterby Designs, who are new to us and also sponsoring this challenge, offering a lovely themed prize pack to a second lucky participant!

Flutterby Designs is an independent Australian scrapbooking embellishment business. Our products cover a wide variety of scrapbooking styles, & are always bright, fun with a splash of cheeky.Designer & owner, Anita Rodway likes to keep it honest & real when expressing her style - which comes across in her designs. She loves a good 'sentence enhancer' & wants to capture moments exactly as they were & that life is not always rainbows & smiles. There is plenty of manufacturers producing 'Best Day Ever' & 'Cherish' themed lines - but we all know sometimes that it's just not LOL. So we love that our designs can be different to the 'normal' & let your scrapbooking be as unique as you are.
In our online store you will find item such as:
Flair Buttons
Pocket Page style cards
Enamel Dots
Die Cuts

Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....

As always we have a guest designer joining us. Please help us welcome Barb Prendergast to our April 15th challenge!!

I will let Barb tell you a bit about herself....

"Hello from sunny southern Colorado! My name is Barb Prendergast, and I'm really excited to be a guest designer this month here on Stuck?! Sketches. I'm a former journalist and public relations manager. My husband Mike and I both grew up in central Illinois, but we retired to Pueblo, Colorado in 2015. We have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Our family, pets and new surroundings give me plenty of scrapworthy subjects.

I started scrapbooking in 2005 when I bought my first digital camera and found the scrapbook section at Joann's at about the same time. My “style” varies, but my favorite layouts are those with lots of layers, bright colors and details. Almost every layout begins with a sketch because it gives me a starting point and allows me to get right to the creative process.
I have been on several sketch design teams. as well as a design team member for a local scrapbook store in Illinois. Other interests including cooking, sightseeing and spending time with my family.

I'm on social media here: blog:

Here is Barb's layout based on our sketch.

Thank you for joining us Barb we just love your page!

Now lets have a look at our gorgeous DT reveals (in alphabetical order!)....

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by April 29th at midnight EST to be in the running for one of our prizes!   All prizes will be drawn randomly using to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr. (Though we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge.  We would also love for you to share the sketch, too!

Thank you for visiting, we cannot wait to see what you create!
