It's a new month and time to reveal the August 1st sketch and our new Creative Team's very first layouts. They all did a fantastic job, so let's leave some love and make them feel welcome. I hope that you will all take some time to create a layout as well.

Hip Hip Hooray! It's August which means it is birthday month. So many exciting things happening this month.

In addition to our two regular sketches, we will be having two bonus sketches. These will be revealed on the 7th and 21st of this month. We have some exciting guest designers lined up to provide samples for these sketches, so be sure to check them out.

Sad Farewell

My name is Suzanna. I am, as my kids will fondly tell you, just generally bonkers! A Type A (highlighted and bolded), organized individual who cherishes family and preserving our memories. I am married to my best friend and together we have 2 wonderful children who inspire me to be the best person I can be. I work part time as a physical therapist (or physio in your part of the world) to "fund" my scrapbooking addiction. Who needs shoes and purses when you can have patterned paper and embellishments?

We are almost finished revealing our new Creative Team, just two more members to go. One which is:

Sarah Ward

I'm known around the scrapbooking world as Sar, and am the owner of an online and at home store called Scrapbook Savvy. I am also a SAHM to my three babies (who aren't really babies anymore!) Cooper 6yo, Georgia 3yo and Bronte 2yo. I have been married to Daniel for the last seven years and he is my rock, supporting me in everything I do. I have been a scrapbooker for around six years, but have become seriously obsessed only in the last couple of years. Every day is 'scrappy' to me...be it working in my store, looking online at new products, chatting with scrapbooking friends or holding weekly crop days and nights. The scrapbooking world is one I can't imagine not being a part of.

I’m Kirsten and I live in the western part of Denmark. I’m happily married to Bernd, and we have two adult children - a son and a daughter. Scrapbooking has been my great passion during the last 4 years, and today I can’t live without spending time on this most wonderful hobby.

I love scrapbooking because I'm able to combine doing things that I love to do; photographing, travelling and being creative.

Karen Wilson

Hello! I'm Karen Wilson, I have lived in Northern Arizona since 2000, I'm originally from California. I'm a proud mother to 2 kids, Jayden(2) and Nicole(6). I'm a newlywed, married to the most wonderful man, Brandon and am so blessed to have him in my life.

I am hopelessly addicted to scrapbooking! At the end of the day this is what helps me relax. It's my creative outlet. My favorite techniques include layering and distressing. I have a love affair with flowers and bling...but my husband doesn't need to know that.:p

If I'm not scrapping, then I am spending my time with my kiddies, or watching movies with my husband...cleaning, cooking...(you know, those wife duties). =)

My name is Crystal and I'm a busy SAHM with 3 children, Lachlan (5), Lily (2) and Lucie (6 Months). My partner Nathan is in the RAAF so we are constantly moving around the country, we currently live in Brisbane, Australia. I took up scrapbooking a few years ago as a way to meet new people when we moved interstate but it took a while for me to get hooked - To be honest, I have never really been a creative person and I have always hated sewing, cooking and art!! Now I have become a serial blog stalker, forum and challenge junkie and have recently had work accepted to be published in the Australian Magazines! I love working with sketches as they take the fuss out of creating a layout and I can get straight into the creating part!! I hope I can inspire you all to try something new and different!!

Colleen Sheehy

Colleen lives in Orange County, California, USA. She is a happy wife and stay at home mother. She's been taking photos since she learned to walk and scrapbooking since high school. Colleen's love for scrapbooking took on a new meaning with the birth of her daughter in September of 2008. With her new photo subject Colleen's hobby quickly turned into an obsession. She loves to capture the stories of their life using pictures and paper. Colleen also enjoys making mini albums, quilting, reading, traveling, spending time with her family and chocolate chip cookies.
