Hi there!
Happy Tuesday! We have lots of news to share with you today! First up, we are sadly saying good-bye to a few of our DT, April is their last month with us. I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated their support and talent these last several months as I waded my way through this new journey for me of running this challenge site.
Please joining me in sending good-bye's and hugs to ...
... you will be missed ladies!
We are also welcoming a couple of new teammates, please join me in giving a big Stuck?! Sketches warm welcome to ....
Here is a little bit about her, "I
originally hail from
Cheticamp, a beautiful Acadian village right on the Cabot Trail in Cape
Breton, NS. Studying in Moncton, I quickly fell in love with NB and have
been a permanent resident since 2005. I now reside in Dieppe with my
husband, Mathieu, our five-year old son, Louis-Olivier, our newborn,
Éloïse, and our cat, Caillou. Since 2007, I am a public servant by day
and a full-fledged scrapper by night. Scrapbooking has become an
integral part of my life. I try doing something scrapbook-related every
day, may it be working on a layout, browsing through online galleries or
reading scrapbook magazines. Published in a few editions of Canadian
Scrapbooker and most recently in France's own Histoires de Pages, my
style has been known to be called "rustic", which is fine by me as it
enables me to relish in fattening things up with dimension, tearing and
texture. Other than scrapbooking, I have rekindled a romance with
reading through a monthly book club I joined at work in February 2012. I
also tutor, teach voice classes and sing most weekends at a few church
services around the area."

And we are also welcoming....
Here is a bit about Jinny....
"My family and I
live in a small suburb of Kansas City, Kansas, just over an hour and a half
north of where I grew up. I am a former, kindergarten teacher turned adoring
wife to BJ and stay-at-home, homeschool mom to a smart, spunky, ten-year-old
Ezekiel; vocal, tenacious, five-year-old Adina; and cutie patootie,
two-month-old Kaden. When I’m not taking care of or playing with my family, you
can find me cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, taking pictures,
blogging at Soaring, and of course, paper crafting. My love for the
latter started, over twelve years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop; but I have
been creating with any and every form of crafting media, that I could get my
hands on, since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I’ve been honored to have
had a number of published works of art, as well as to get to design for some of
my most favorite manufacturers and challenge blogs, and am just thrilled to be
joining the talented likes of the Stuck?! Sketches Design Team! I hope that I
can inspire you all to get creating."

We have had a lot of incredible entries to both of this months sketches, but this one in particular caught my eye. It makes great use of texture and a monochromatic colour scheme. Thank you for your submission
