It's time for a new sketch challenge here! But first let's chat about the sponsor for this challenge. A big thank you goes out to
A Piece of Cake Designs.
A Piece of Cake Designs is a monthly limited edition kit club. Each month kits comprise of a number of coordinating patterned papers from different manufacturers, a colour coordinating alphabet (or two) and then a bundle of beautifully coordinated matching embellishments like twine, ribbon, brads, washi tape, stickers, rub ons, etc.The kits also include unique embellishments only available at A Piece of Cake Designs - Cherry Flair!
A Piece of Cake Designs is offering 3 packages of Cherry Flair in styles of the winners choosing as our prize for today's sketch! All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.
Now let's get started with the challenge, here is your sketch....
This week we have something fun to share with you! Occasionally we will be have a guest designer join us, and this week we have Ann Jobes joining us.
I will let Ann tell you a bit about herself....
"My name is Ann Jobes. Would you believe me if I told you I paid someone else to
complete my first 2 albums? It’s true - back in the late ‘90’s I had someone
else create 2 travel books for me. But around 2004, I changed my impression of
what scrapbooking is and realized I wanted (or needed) in! Since that time, I’ve
enjoyed playing with all kinds of products and techniques and for the last year
or so, have enjoyed incorporating mixed media techniques and products on my
pages. Thank you, Laura, for having me, and for creating such an inspiring
sketch! "
Here is Ann's incredible interpretation of our sketch.
Now lets have a look at our gorgeous DT reveals....
Please link up your entries over in the sidebar by October 30th at Midnight to be in the running for this prize! All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.
When linking your entries, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard later in the month to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr.
Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with no more than one other non-sketch challenge, such as a colour challenge.
Thank you for visiting, we cannot wait to see what you create!
Laura

It was a great sketch, Laura! Thank you for the chance to work with it as a guest. The DT did a great job with it, and look at you scrapping yourself - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI really liked this sketch. I actually got inspired by it and scrapped this morning already. Mine ended up looking a little different but I used a lot of the elements.
