Hello!
I would like to take a few minutes today to introduce your to our new Design Team, these scrappers will begin sharing their designs with you on October 1st!
I was so humbled by the overwhelming response that we had to our latest DT call, thank you to everyone that applied! It is always difficult decision to choose one scrapper over another, super stressful actually - I am not an art critic nor do I want anyone to feel that their talent is less than that of anyone else, because of course it isn't. I typically look to fit as many different styles of scrappers as I can onto our team of 12, to hopefully provide inspiration to as many of our wonderful readers as possible.
So without further ado, please meat our new members:
Cassie Wiscarson
Documenting my family’s stories and adventures is a huge passion of mine. I have
been married to my husband for 12 years now and we have one smart and funny 8
year old daughter and two fluffy, furry dogs. I started scrapbooking back in
2005 after my husband joined the Army. My hobby has traveled with me throughout
the world. I think about scrapbooking every single day, I might be slightly
obsessed, but this hobby brings such joy to my life and I love sharing my
passion with others. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t do something
scrapbooking related. I love being able to combine my photographs with fun and
beautiful supplies to tell the story of my life and my family.

Dana Tatar
I am a stay-at-home mom currently living in Virginia with my husband and two
daughters. I started paper crafting about 8 years ago and have expanded from
scrapbooking and now create a little of everything, including cards, tags, ATCs,
arches and small gift and home decor items. I frequently find inspiration in
music, poetry and pop culture. I’m an active blogger and I like to share my tips
and ideas. When I’m not creating art, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading,
listening to music and spending time outdoors with my family.

Devra Hunt
I live in the Seattle, WA area and am the COO of my two teenage boys, husband,
and our dog, a yellow lab named Snickers. When I'm not scrapping, I like to
read, enjoy long walks with my dog, and a night out with friends. I live for
baseball season, and am always dreaming of the beach. Oh, and when I retire, I
want to be Snow White in the Disneyland Parade. I have been scrapping since I received my first scrapbook as a birthday
gift in 1998. I love how the hobby continues to evolve and gives me reason to
try new things, and evolve as well. If I had to describe my style, I’d say it’s
humorous and colorful. There is usually a pun on my pages somewhere. I enjoy
trying new trends and techniques (some more than others) and seeing how I can
make them work for me. I scrap it all, the good, the bad, the funny, and yes,
the ugly. And with my family as my primary subjects, I am never a loss for new
material.
Elisabetta Colavero
Elisabetta Colavero (Eli) and I'm italian: I love sun, pizza and ice
cream! Born on the 3rd of March, 1973, I have a daughter Noemi, 12
years old, who is the favorite subject of my projects. We live in a
nice cottage in a little city with 2 old cats. I'm graduated in Agriculture, and I work for the Province of Cremona, Agricultural
department. But I'm very lucky! I can work at home, so I have time to
devote to my hobbies: reading, sporting, gardening, and of course,
scrapbooking. I started
about 10 years ago, and I prefer to make layouts and sometimes mini albums. The cards, instead, simply hate me! I have no defined style, because I like changes and I try always new techniques. Scrapbooking for me it's like a drug... It allows me to express the artistic side of me and, at the same time, to create something that preserves forever my fondest memories. My slogan is: "Do not throw anything away" , both in scrapbooking and in cooking. Yes, I'm a good cook too!

Kumiko Kimura
Nice meet you. My name is Kumiko, kimura. I live in Japan. I'm married and have three
daughters. I started scrapbooking 9 years ago. I like to make layouts from sketches. I am
good at making layouts that pop.Let's enjoy creating together!
Sarah Wilkins
I'm Sarah, married to Pete for 22 years. Mum to Jack (age 17) and Sam (age 14),
Mumma also to two furbabies Sandi and Dara (Burmese cats). I have been
scrapbooking for over 8 years, I dabble a bit in card making, but scrapbooking
is my true love. I love taking photos, my boys and cats are my main subjects, I
take my camera everywhere with me! I have a very busy life as I work
part-time in our local hospital laboratory as a Biomedical Scientist, (this
includes night shifts too). I am also a trustee for a local charity which
supports families with children who have special needs, this is a charity we
use as Jack has ADHD and Sam is Autistic, without this charity our life would be
very different. I love to cook and I dabble in a bit of cupcake
baking! I am very busy, life isn't dull and crafting is my time.
Crafting is how I relax, how I switch off from the everyday life and stresses.
I love scrapbooking as I love to record every treasured moment of my growing
family.
Valerie Andrieux
I'm a French mom of 2
daughters who lives in France,
for now. I started
scrapbooking with my first newborn but also because I discovered it within my
first expatriation in Houston,
Texas. My inspiration came
mostly from the people I love and care about, and sometimes I create only for
the fun to play with a new toy. I like to scrapbook, make cards and altered
projects, and create almost everyday.
